Taiwan's Grand Slam-winning doubles star Hsieh Su-wei helped her team to gold in the Asian Games tennis final on Wednesday with victory over rivals China.
Reigning French Open women's doubles champion Hsieh lost her singles rubber to former Wimbledon semi-finalist Zheng Jie 6-3, 5-7, 2-6.
But partner Chan Yung-jan's battling 7-6 (10/8), 7-6 (7/4) win over Duan Yingying in the singles and Chan and Hsieh's easy 6-2, 7-5 romp over Zheng and Zhang Shuai in the doubles saw Taiwan home 2-1.
