In a reshuffle to the conventional line-up, India decided to rest some of the regular first team players for the upcoming Asia Cup in Dhaka. While the speculation surrounding Sachin Tendulkar was cleared, Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan were not as lucky as they were sidelined from the 15-member squad. Pathan brothers and Ashok Dinda also made it to the squad for the four-nation series.
