England were just on the mark with the ball. However, they struggled a bit to get Travis Head who went on to score 77 runs. Broad started things for them by getting rid of Warner for the 17th time in his career. Moeen Ali was excellent and picked up two crucial wickets of Smith and Labuschagne. Chris Woakes and Mark Wood shared five wickets among them while it was Broad who mopped up the tail and the important wicket of Head to restrict the Aussies to 250. Now, their batters will have the responsibility to get them back in the Ashes. Can England chase a total of 250 runs? Or will the Aussies manage to get some early wickets and put them under pressure? Let's find out together. Chase coming up shortly...

Australia have been bowled out for 224 in their second innings. In this truncated session of Day 3, the visitors added 134 runs to their overnight score, losing six wickets in the process. Having resumed their innings under testing conditions, Mitchell Marsh was confident in his approach and was looking in fine nick. However, an indecision led to his departure and he was followed back into the hut by Alex Carey. Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc could not stand tall against the short ball barrage from England and the visitors were struggling at 170-8. Travis Head then took matters into his own hands and played a counter-attacking knock to propel Australia's lead to 250.
