Ambati Rayudu Shines in India's Narrow Win v Zimbabwe

Ambati Rayudu's unbeaten 124 laid the platform for India's last-over thriller against Zimbabwe in the first ODI (All photos AFP).

Zimbabwe won the toss and put India in to bat first.

Rayudu registered his second century and shared a 160-run partnership with Stuart Binny (77) to take India to 255 for six in 50 overs against Zimbabwe

Stuart Binny scored his maiden ODI fifty, finishing on 77 off 76 balls.

Rayudu and Binny guided India to 255/5 in 50 overs

Elton Chigumbura led the way for the hosts in a stiff chase against India.

Chigumbura smashed a century and was on course to stun India.

Chigumbura remained unbeaten on 104 but Bhuvneshwar Kumar held his nerve and took India to a 4-run win in the final over.
