Women's Kabaddi Final: India Women Edge Past Iran In Thrilling Final, Clinch Gold
The Indian women's kabaddi team successfully defended its Asian Games title, beating Iran 37-34 in the final at the Tokai Citizen Gymnasium. India, who also won gold at the previous edition in Hangzhou, led 22-16 at the break after a tense opening half. The Indians continued to dictate the tempo in the second half, although Iran mounted a late challenge in the closing stages. However, disciplined defending helped India see out the contest and seal another gold medal in dominant fashion.
