Sophie Cunningham has officially entered a new podcasting chapter with No Hesitation, a new basketball show launched alongside trainer Drew Hanlen on September 10. The Indiana Fever guard is turning her attention back to the WNBA and NBA, offering an inside perspective as an active player while Hanlen brings his experience in basketball training and player development. The weekly show also marks a clear shift from Cunningham's previous podcast, Show Me Something, giving her a new platform focused almost entirely on the game.
Sophie Cunningham Starts No Hesitation With Drew Hanlen
Sophie Cunningham is back behind the microphone, but this time the Indiana Fever guard has a new partner and a clear focus. On September 10, Cunningham launched No Hesitation with basketball trainer Drew Hanlen. The new show will cover the WNBA and NBA, with fresh episodes coming every Thursday.
The move comes after Show Me Something, Cunningham's podcast with West Wilson, stopped releasing new episodes earlier this year. Front Office Sports reported that the original show's one-year contract had expired. Cunningham and Wilson had been friends since high school, and their podcast mixed basketball, reality TV, food, fashion and travel.
There had also been public speculation about a possible split between the two after Cunningham and Wilson took different positions on transgender athletes in women's sports. Neither has confirmed that disagreement caused the podcast to end. The confirmed change is simple: Cunningham has now moved into a new basketball-focused show with Hanlen.
No Hesitation Brings Sophie Cunningham And Drew Hanlen Into Basketball Talk
The new show wastes little time getting to basketball. Cunningham and Hanlen are using their first episodes to discuss WNBA storylines, players, teams and issues around the league. Hanlen also brings his experience as a basketball trainer, giving the podcast a different setup from Cunningham's earlier lifestyle-focused show.
Hanlen is the founder and CEO of Pure Sweat Basketball and has worked with several NBA players. Cunningham brings something just as useful: she is still inside the WNBA as an active Indiana Fever player. That gives the pair two different views of the game, one from the court and one from player development.
The first episode arrived on September 10 and showed exactly where the new podcast is heading. Cunningham and Hanlen discussed Olivia Miles, foul-baiting and the Indiana Fever's late-season push. Cunningham also shared her thoughts on the WNBA's next commissioner and what she would change if she were running the league.
Sophie Cunningham's New Podcast Leaves The Old Show Behind
There is one thing Cunningham did not make the focus of the debut: the end of Show Me Something. Instead, she and Hanlen stayed with basketball and built the episode around the sport they both know best. That choice gives No Hesitation a noticeably different identity from the older show.
The new podcast is being released through The Volume, with distribution also listed through iHeartPodcasts. Apple Podcasts lists No Hesitation as a weekly basketball show featuring Cunningham and Hanlen, while the podcast says new episodes will arrive every Thursday.
For Cunningham, the change is more than a new title. She has moved from a show built around two friends and their different worlds to one centered almost entirely on basketball. After months of questions around her old podcast, No Hesitation gives her a fresh microphone, a new co-host and a very different lane.
