Well, the Aussie pacers had their tail up today. Pat Cummins showed why he is the best of the best as he ended up with 4 wickets and it wasn't just the wickets but just how well he bowled throughout the innings. Scott Boland was just relentless with his around the off stump probing line and Mitchell Starc did what he does best and cleaned up the tail in a jiffy. Green too bowled well and picked up a wicket whereas Nathan Lyon wasn't even required. A dominating display from the bowlers and now, can the Aussie openers stick around and pile on the pressure? We'll find out in about 10 minutes of time.

As many as 14 wickets have already fallen on Day 2 and we might see a couple more. Three out of the top four English batters got starts but none of them were able to play a big innings, not even a half-century from anyone. Stokes and Pope too failed and it was the debutant, Sam Billings who looked most comfortable out there in the middle and seemed to be timing the ball well. Chris Woakes hung around with him and the pair got some quick runs after the break. Billings though fell but Woakes and Wood did manage some streaky boundaries. The last three wickets fell in the space of nine deliveries and this has left the visitors with a hefty deficit.

What a brilliant allround display with the ball from the Aussie quicks. They have managed to bundle out the visitors for under 200 yet again and have a big first innings lead of 115 runs as well. England, well they were already reeling at 124 for 6 at the Tea break but the tailenders have at least managed to cut short the Aussie lead, which otherwise would have been absolutely mammoth. Their bowlers now have a chance to bowl under lights and look for early breakthroughs. The bis question is that will Ollie Robinson bowl tonight or not?

Mitchell Starc says he's heard two noises and Pat Cummins does go for the review. Indeed there were two noises as the third umpire confirms on Hotspot that there's a slight tickle off the bat. The keeper wasn't sure but kudos to the skipper for believing in his bowler and the fact the Australia have missed out on two reviews earlier on might have also played a part in this review. Chris Woakes though has to walk back.
-
46.2WMitchell Starc to Chris Woakes
OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! JEEZ! What a review from the Aussies! This was a good-length ball, around leg. Woakes looks to flick but he only manages a tickle, which ricochets off his hips and then goes to the keeper. Alex Carey, behind the sticks makes no mistake and Starc appeals. The umpire says no and Pat Cummins opts for a review. The UltraEdge shows a spike as the ball was passing the bat and Chris Woakes is a goner.
-
