T20 World Cup 2024: Rohit Sharma And Co Receive Warm Welcome From Fans Upon Arrival In Delhi

After the T20 World Cup triumph, Team India finally reached Delhi on Thursday morning. Upon their arrivals, hundreds of fans gathered at the Delhi airport and gave a warm welcome to Team India for their victory.

Team India arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning, through a charted flight organised by BCCI. A large number of fans gave a warm reception to the T20 World Cup winners.

After reaching the airport, Team India boarded the team bus and left for ITC Maurya Sheraton, where they were greeted by dhol and traditional Bhangra dancers.

The likes of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya danced their hearts out to the beats of dhol at the hotel.

At the hotel, skipper Rohit Sharma, head coach Rahul Dravid, and vice captain Hardik Pandya cut a sepcial cake, designed by the chefs of ITC Maurya.

After leaving from hotel, Rohit Sharma and co met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at this residence in New Delhi. PM Modi hosted the team for breakfast and also interacted with the players.

Team India left for Mumbai after meeting PM Modi. In Mumbai, the team will be taking part in a felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede stadium. Later in the evening, the team will also be taking part in a victory parade.
