Rangana Herath Spins Sri Lanka to Sensational Win Over India

Shikhar Dhawan, who scored his second successive ton in the first innings, was removed by Rangana Herath.

Herath was almost unplayable, troubling the Indian batsmen with his turn and guile in near tailor-made conditions.

Tharindu Kaushal was also impressive and took 3/47 to complement Herath well.

Kohli's exit spelled further trouble for India, whose batsmen failed to come to terms with the turning pitch.

Ajinkya Rahane, who out for a duck in the first innings, top-scored with 36 but that was nowhere near enough as his other colleagues flopped miserably.

Wriddhiman Saha, who slammed 60 in the first innings, was foxed by Herath. With him, India's last ray of hopes were also gone.

Herath, who finished with 7/48, completed his second-best figures in Test cricket.
