World Cup: South Africa vs Sri Lanka Quarter-Final Was a Mismatch, Lara Tells NDTV
Former West Indies captain Brian Lara said he was very disappointed with Sri Lanka after they crashed out of the World Cup, losing the quarter-final to South Africa by nine wickets. Lara said the Lankans were very poor with the bat while the Proteas looked extremely dangerous. Lara and former India opener Sunil Gavaskar also paid glowing tributes to Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene, who played bowed out of ODIs.
