Virat Kohli Batting at No. 3 or No. 4 Doesn't Matter: Sunil Gavaskar to NDTV

Virat Kohli's demotion to No. 4 in ODIs has stirred a major debate but former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said Kohli's batting position does not matter. Gavaskar called Kohli the pivot of the Indian batting line-up and said the innings would be worked around him. Gavaskar said pushing Kohli down the order was a tactical move to defend the team's best batsman against the new ball and insisted that the vice-captain’s poor run of form did not worry him.
