Transparency is Welcome, But Let's Wait and Watch: Sunil Gavaskar
Sunil Gavaskar did not wish to comment on N. Srinivasan's ouster as chairman of ICC. Saying he enjoyed his short stint as interim president of the BCCI's IPL affairs in 2014, Gavaskar said he had a good team and credit should go them. The controversial Sundar Raman, who resigned as IPL COO last week, was part of Gavaskar's team. The former Test opener welcome the BCCI's attempt at transparency and clean governance while veteran journalist Kishore Bhimani said Shashank Manohar's efforts were laudable and the changes were not tokenism.
