Sourav Ganguly feels the come-from-behind win against Australia at the Eden Gardens in March 2001 changed the way India played Test cricket. Speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi on Saturday, the former Indian Test captain said VVS Laxman's 281 was the cornerstone of the miraculous victory. Both Ganguly and Laxman looked back at their times together in the Indian team and also discussed the future of Indian cricket. In a free-wheeling chat, Laxman said India will retain the World Cup Down Under as they will be adequately prepared for the championship because the core of the Test and ODI remained the same. Ganguly said Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the right man to lead India although there were questions about his ability as a Test captain. India begin a long tour of Australia with a four-Test series starting in Brisbane on December 4. Winning the first Test will be key, said Ganguly.
