Harmandar Singh, the proud father of India vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur, was elated to watch his daughter score 171 not out off 115 balls against Australia in the semi-finals of the Women's World Cup. Talking exclusively to NDTV, Harmandar Singh said, "All our dreams will come true when India win the World Cup." Talking about his daughter's brilliant batting, Harmandar added that she has been a big Virender Sehwag fan since childhood. She would always carry a picture of the former India batsman when she was young. "Harmanpreet didn't get many chances to bat in the tournament, but when she did, she stepped up. Harmanpreet shouldered the responsibility and performed well at a crucial stage. I'm very proud to watch her play for India," said Hemjit Kaur, Harmanpreet's sister.
