'Mission Olympics' striking rich

The Indian Army launched a programme called 'Mission Olympics' in 2001, with the aim of preparing athletes to win medals at the Olympic games. The medals tally at the prestigious fourth World Military games has left the Indian army beaming. With a haul of two gold medals, one silver and seven bronze medals, the Indian contingent says it is proof that the Army's seven-year-old 'Mission Olympics' is showing results.
