London Olympics: Gagan Narang wins India its first medal

For a man who was always considered 'there but not quite', 29 year old Gagan Narang has comeback with a 'bang' in his third Olympics. In the 10 metre air rifle event, Gagan saved his best for last, shooting a solid 10.7 in his final shot to whisk away the Bronze from China's Tao Wang. That shot made him only the third Indian shooter to win a medal after Rajyawardhan Rathore and Abhinav Bindra.
