Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar on Monday termed Ravindra Jadeja's ban for the third and final Test of the series against Sri Lanka as over reaction from the umpires and the match referee. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Gavaskar said," Jadeja's one-match ban was over reaction from umpires and match referee. I'm very happy that ICC has been tightening up on all of these issues about the Code of Conduct on the field. But, I think this one was a bit of an overeaction." Jadeja has been suspended from the Pallekele Test after his latest breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second Test at Colombo against Sri Lanka. The charges were laid by on-field umpires Bruce Oxenford and Rod Tucker, third umpire Richard Illingworth and fourth umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge.
