Abhinav Bindra, the 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medallist in the 10m air rifle event, feels the Indian Olympic Association is trying to negotiate on something that is non-negotiable with the International Olympic Committee. As an athlete, ethics are an absolutely must and we must be administered by people who have perfect honesty and integrity, he told NDTV in an exclusive chat. Bindra feels that India are in an extreme situation and if nothing changes now, Indian athletes' future look doomed. The IOC doesn’t recognize India as part of the Olympic family because the IOA is governed by people who are facing corruption charges.
