Dawood Ibrahim visited India's Sharjah dressing room 1987: Dilip Vengsarkar
Former India captain Dilip vengsarkar has revealed that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim walked into the Indian cricket team's dressing room in Sharjah in 1987. Recalling that incident, Vengsarkar said that Dawood offered a car each to the entire team if they win the tournament in Sharjah. This revelation was then confirmed by then team captain Kapil Dev, who said that an unidentified man walked into the dressing room and was then asked to leave right away by Kapil. This incident has also been mentioned by former BCCI secretary and the then team manager Jaywant Lele in his book.
