The Supreme Court has pulled up the BCCI, including its president Anurag Thakur and asked the cricket Board to either follow the recommendations of the Lodha panel. The court has curbed all financial transactions including funds to State Associations. It wants an independent auditor to scrutinise all the accounts of the BCCI. There will be no money to state boards till they comply with the Lodha recommendations. The back and forth between the court and the BCCI has been going on for a while. It all began after match fixing allegations in the IPL. Then there was the Mudgal report, following which Justice Lodha's panel was constituted by the Supreme Court and now what we are looking at whether or not the BCCI will implement the orders of the Lodha committee.
