BCCI Officials Not Bigger Than The Game: Justice RM Lodha

Justice RM Lodha, whose heads a Supreme Court-appointed panel to bring in reforms in the Board of Control for Cricket in India, told NDTV that Board officials were twisting their recommendations to win sympathy. Justice Lodha said there were no restraints on the BCCI to host international matches and the freeze on its bank account was not to stop "routine' affairs. The former Chief Justice of India said the BCCI officials were bound to implement the reforms once it was approved by the Supreme Court in July. The BCCI's defiance has caught him by surprise. The top court will hear the BCCI on October 6.
