Be it Olympics or cricket, Virender Sehwag's twitter feed has the most interesting messages for every sport under the sky. So, when India made history by defeating Iran to clinch the Kabaddi World Cup 2016, the former India opener lauded the nation's heroes in his own inimitable style.
Ajay Thakur, who garnered 12 points alone through raids, in India's 38-29 win over Iran found special praise from Sehwag.
"Yeh Jazba, yeh Spirit, Hamka De De Thakur. Ajay Thakur, you are a rockstar. Haar ke Jeetne waale ko Team India kehta hain. Champions," he tweeted.
He also did not spare British journalist Piers Morgan, with whom he had waged a Twitter war when the latter mocked India's poor performance at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Indian kabaddi team's efforts was also lauded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Dhawal Kulkarni and badminton star Jwala Gutta.
