It was Ishan Kishan's 42 off 21 that had set the tone for MI in the big chase. Earlier, RCB posted 199 for 6 in 20 overs. Glenn Maxwell scored 68 off 33 while Faf du Plessis hit 65 off 41. For MI, Jason Behrendorff was pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 36. MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first.
