It was not the easiest of pitches for Mumbai and their batting struggled to come to terms with the slow nature of the surface. Credit should be given to Delhi's outstanding bowling here. Once again Avesh Khan was impressive with his 3-wicket haul but it was Axar Patel who picked three wickets at the top to break the back of Mumbai's batting.

A hard-fought win for Delhi and they have achieved their 9th victory of the season. Delhi have also completed a league double over the defending champions and continue to impress. For Mumbai, they have failed to break the 10-point deadlock and stay 6th on the table. It's going to be tough for them from here on.
