India came back from their 5 wicket loss in Bangalore and responded with an 11 win win over Pakistan in the 2nd T20 International in Ahmedabad.

Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane got India off to a good start putting on 44 runs in less than 4 overs.

But both failed to capitalise on their good starts and fell to Umar Gul for 21 and 28 respectively leaving India at 53/2 in 7 overs.

It was the Yuvraj Singh show from there onwards as he smashed 72 off 36 balls including 7 sixes that would guide India to 192/5 from their 20 overs.

Nasir Jamshed stroked 41 and along with Ahmed Shehzad gavE Pakistan a 74 run stand at the top.

Mohammad Hafeez hit 55 from just 26 to keep Pakistan in the hunt for victory.

But Ashok Dinda took crucial wickets and Pakistan ended up with 181/7 giving India an 11 run win to level the series 1-1. Now both teams look to face off in the first ODI starting on Sunday in Chennai.
