After ten months away from the game, Yuvraj Singh returned to the cricket field having battled cancer when he played the second T20 against New Zealand at Chennai. While India lost the match, it was a good return for Yuvi to international cricket.

Yuvraj Singh turned his arm over early on and while he wasn't as successful as expected it was a good way to get back in the thick of things.

He would ultimately score 34 of 26 balls and took India very close to victory but unfortunately departed in the last over. Even though he could not win the match for his team he showed his critics that even after a long break he is still an integral part of India's batting line-up.
