It was India's day on Friday in Mohali after Australia tumbled in the final session to give the home side an advantage. This after the opening day of the Mohali Test was washed away. A look at some of the key moments. (BCCI image)

After opting to bat, David Warner and Ed Cowan opened the innings for the visitors and provided a stable platform. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

Cowan did mis-time a few shots but the opening session largely belonged to him and Warner. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

David Warner soon took the lead in scoring runs as Indian bowlers were snubbed to the corner. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

Success though came early as Ravindra Jadeja (not in the image) found Warner's edge. The ball jumped up and skipper MS Dhoni completed a running catch. The batsman made 71. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

India did not have to wait for their second success even a moment.
Australia skipper Michael Clarke replaced Warner and found himself stumped off the first delivery he faced. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

Indian fielding in the inner-circle though was not a cent-percent as there were several chances which were put down. Australia lost one more wicket - Phil Hughes (not seen here) - and took tea at 180/3. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

The final session once again saw an Aussie batsman taking control. Steve Smith is seen here smashing a delivery to the fence. He played with a good blend of responsibility and aggression to put his team on track. (Image courtesy: BCCI)

India struck with the wicket of Ed Cowan (unseen) who scored 86 but that was not to be their final success of the day. He was dismissed by a jaffer from R Ashwin, who bowled well throughout without much success.
Ishant Sharma finally got into his own after that and got Brad Haddin and Moises Henriques in the same over to rattle Australian batting again. Jadeja then removed Peter Siddle to make it India's day completely. (Image courtesy: BCCI)
