This was the third consecutive fifty-plus stand between the two openers in the tournament. Earlier, India bowlers restricted Namibia to 132/8 in 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah got two wickets. With this win, an era of Indian cricket under the head coach Ravi Shastri has also come to an end. After this tournament, Rahul Dravid will take over the head coach duties of the national team. India will next take on New Zealand in the home series starting November 17. This was also Virat Kohli's last game as T20I skipper. The Indian batting giant had captained the national side in 50 matches where he won 30 games.
