The Formula One is on a summer break and Mercedes star driver Lewis Hamilton is cooling his heels at Barbados.

The British driver, who is leading the Formula One driver's championship charts, was seen partying with Caribbean pop singer Rihanna at the annual Kadooment Day parade in Barbados. The Kadooment Day parade is the finale of the Barbados' Crop Over festival - a West Indian celebration marking the end of the sugar-cane harvest.

The appearance of the defending Formula One champion with Rihanna has once again fuelled the talks of the couple being in a relationship.

Hamilton, who floundered his pole position at the Hungarian GP to finish sixth, has been making most of his downtime in the Caribbean. He posted his photos of working out and a new braided hairstyle.

Formula One returns to action in Belgium on August 23 and Mercedes would hope that the break would help Hamilton regain momentum and add an extra-gear to defend his title.
