The trophy comprises aspects of sports, technology, glamour, entertainment and youth all rolled into one masterpiece. It displays elements of both modern and traditional India
The cup is formed with 24 metal slivers that are assembled around an axis, inspired by the 24 spokes of the 'Ashoka chakra'. Aircraft grade light-weight aluminium has been used to depict this fusion.
The colours saffron, white and green are imbedded in the gaps between the slivers showing a subtle expression of the Indian tricolour. Ion-plating of anodized aluminium completes the cup, creating a unique blend of metallic black, red and silver.
