19.5 OUT! Second one of the over. Big blow for UAE. Ahmed tries to whack this across the line, misses the ball and is hit flush on his pads. Looks pretty adjacent. The bowler and keeper appeal and the umpire obliges by raising his finger. Hong Kong doing really well to restrict UAE by picking up important wickets. 124/5

| Chirag Suri | 11 | 40 | 1 | 0 | 27.5 |
12.1 OUT! Bowled! What a beauty! It had to be a special delivery to break this solid stand. Tanwir lands this on a good length on the off stump line. The ball pitches and nips away slightly. Suri, looking to block it, is beaten by the away movement and the ball hits the off pole. Suri looks surprised but is gone. That's the first wicket for Hong Kong. 54/1

| Rohan Mustafa C | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
13.4 OUT! Timber again! Another beauty, this time from Aizaz. He lands it on a length on middle and off. Mustafa looks to defend but the ball moves away, goes past his defence and hits the top of the off pole. Big blow for UAE as their man in form departs. Two quick wickets for Hong Kong. 55/2
| Rameez Shahzad | 2 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 50 |
15.2 OUT! Another one is castled! Third wicket down for UAE and all three have been bowled. Aizaz continues with his tight line and length just around off. Shahzad tries to drive it on the up through the covers but does not move his feet much. The ball lands, seams in ever so slightly to take the inside edge of Shahzad's bat and crashes into the stumps. All of a sudden, UAE have lost some good ground. 54/0 to 65/3. 65/3

| Shaiman Anwar | 22 | 14 | 1 | 2 | 157.14 |
19.2 OUT! Anwar looking to go for another maximum, perishes. He gets under this full ball on the stumps, heaves it to the cow corner boundary. The fielder there settles under the ball and takes a straightforward catch. UAE lose their fourth wicket. 123/4
| Muhammad Usman | 16 | 10 | 1 | 1 | 160 |
22.2 OUT! Taken at the long on boundary. Usman goes for the big one again, hits it well but the lack of power on the shot means that the fielder at long on settles under it and takes an easy catch. 154/6
| Adnan Mufti | 16 | 9 | 1 | 1 | 177.77 |
23 OUT! Two in Two. Mufti tries to be too smart and pays the price. Khan bowls an off cutter, a bit shorter of good length and around the off stump line. Mufti leans back and tries to run it off the bat face fine of the keeper. However, the connection is not good and the ball kisses the bat and goes straight in the keepper's gloves. An excellent finish to the over by the bowler. 161/8
| Mohammad Naveed | 6 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 300 |
22.5 OUT! Watta stunning catch! This is world class from Hong Kong. Naveed again lofts it, this time towards the cover region. The man at sweeper cover runs in hard, dives and takes a mind-blowing, tumbling catch. Kinchit Shah is the fielder. 161/7
| Amir Hayat | 7 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 233.33 |
23.5 OUT! Not a surprise. It has been the case ever since the break. A big hit, then a wicket. Full and outside off, Hayat backs away and looks to go over long on. But there is not enough elevation and Anshuman Rath takes it calmly. 169/9

| Nizakat Khan | 38 | 20 | 6 | 1 | 190 |
6.1 OUT! Bowled! There comes the first breakthrough. The arm ball, on middle, Nizakat rocks back, to try and hit this through the off side but misses. The ball skids through and hits the stumps. No real celebration from the bowler or the fielders. They seem to be relieved, rather. That partnership was really putting pressure on them. Hong Kong need 115 from 107 balls. 64/1

| Anshy Rath C | 28 | 25 | 4 | 0 | 112 |
9.5 OUT! Bowled! The wheels are coming off the chase's chariot as Rath is out of here. Another wicket being thrown away. Needless. Full and straight, Rath backs away and looks to hit it through the off side. But misses. Timber. 82/4

| Babar Hayat | 3 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 50 |
7.2 OUT! Caught behind! Massive, massive wicket for UAE. Babar Hayat is one of the most consistent batsmen from Hong Kong but here, he has departed without doing much. Excellent bowling. The bowler Hayat lands it on a length outside off while the batsman Hayat tries to steer it to third man, while backing away to the leg side. However, once the ball hits the deck, it seams away and the batsman is not able to account for that. No feet movement. As a result, he gets a thick outside edge which is easily taken by the keeper Abdul Shakoor. Are the tables turning? 112 more needed from 100 balls. 67/2
| Kinchit Shah | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
7.4 OUT! A direct hit and Kinchit is gone for a duck. Hong Kong are pushing themselves into a hole now. Full and around off, Kinchit works it towards mid-wicket and sets off for a quick single. However, he misjudges the timing with which he has hit that. Ahmed Raza has to move just a couple of paces to his left. Coolly picks it up with his left hand, takes aim and has a shy at the bowler's end. BANG. No need for the third umpire at all. 111 more needed from 97 balls. 68/3
| Christopher Carter | 33 | 32 | 1 | 2 | 103.12 |
17.4 OUT! Carter has to go. If you have ever tried googling the meaning of the term miscommunication, then, you might as well look at this wicket for a proper explanation. Imagine you are at a signal on your vehicle. Suddenly the traffic signal stops working and cars, trucks, ricks and buses come from everywhere. What results? Mayhem. Full on middle, Carter works it towards mid-wicket but while doing so, he slips. Ehsan wants a single but Carter is busy giving a fall-down pose to the photographers. Ehsan jogs back. Rameez Shahzad has a shy at the bowler's end and scores a direct hit. Now, the ball deflects away and Carter comes all the way down for a single. But for some strange reason, Ehsan shows his back to him, busy seeing where the ball is heading, almost to deep cover. Then, he spots Carter beside him and gestures him to go back! Poor Carter. He turns, runs hard, tries to get in but by then, Ahmed Raza's throw has reached the keeper. Gone by a mile. 135/5

| Ehsan Khan | 29 | 24 | 2 | 2 | 120.83 |
19.1 OUT! A stupendous catch to start the description of the ball, but the more and more looks we have at the replays, the more we feel that the batsman might be unlucky. A short ball outside off, Ehsan pulls it towards short mid-wicket. The ball seems to be dipping and going away from the fielder but Rohan Mustafa throws himself to his right and takes the catch. However, he immediately signals to the umpire that he is not sure whether the catch is clean. The umpires confer and refer it upstairs. The soft signal is out and the third umpire now has a task at hand. He sees multiple replays and what we see is that when Mustafa dived, his elbow hit the ground and the ball popped out. From one angle, it seemed like the ball hit his chest and popped back into his hands. From another angle, it looked like it hit the ground. Eventually, the third umpire presses the red button. This could be a big moment. Might be the turning point. 146/6

| Aizaz Khan | 10 | 7 | 2 | 0 | 142.85 |
19.3 OUT! Straight to the man! Short ball, outside off, Aizaz pulls and looks like he has got enough connection. But nope. The ball has more height than distance and deep mid-wicket pouches it safely. 147/7

23 OUT! The fun is not over yet! Number 8 is down. A short ball, Afzal swings this over mid on and seems to have cleared long on but dear me, has found the fielder in the deep! We are heading down to the wire, folks... 176/8
