Ross Taylor, for his match-winning hundred is adjudged the Man of the Match. He says that he is training as hard as possible. He is getting to work his top hand as he is known to be a bottom-handed player. Credits it to the hard work he has put in the nets. Praises Kane Williamson's streak of four fifties in a row and adds that the two are getting along well at the crease with these vital partnerships.
India earlier got to a good total thanks to the brilliant partnership between Jadeja and Dhoni. Dhoni once again steered the ship and then exploded in the end as Jadeja at the other end also hit a good fifty. The Indian top order failed again apart from Rohit who played a scratchy knock of 79. Kohli was promoted to open the batting but he failed again. Dhoni and Jadeja did well to finish their innings but it was not enough as they not only lost the match but also the series 3-0.
What a finish from New Zealand, they seal the series with a match to go. They got off to a good start thanks to their openers who started positively. Indians struck back with two wickets but once again the duo of Williamson and Taylor ensured they played out the tough period and got closer to the total scoring fifties. Williamson got out to a brilliant piece of fielding from Jadeja but Taylor went on to score his hundred to ensure there were no further hiccups. Brendon finished the match in a hurry with a superb unbeaten knock of 49!
