That's all we have from this outstanding cricket match. We look forward to your company for the fourth ODI on 28th January in Hamilton at 0630 IST (0100 GMT). Until then, on behalf of the scoring and commentary team, I bid you farewell. Cheers!!!
Ravindra Jadeja bags the Man of the Match for his outstanding batting! He says that the plan with Ashwin was to play till the last ball but it didn't happen. He feels that they bowled well but the straighter boundaries are quite short here. Also adds that they have learnt a lot from this match.
Ashwin's wicket can be considered as the turning point of this match, although Jadeja orchestrated his hitting prowess in the death overs. A few lusty blows from him kept the hope ignited in the Indian camp and he almost did the impossible. Corey Anderson was the surprise package for New Zealand, who provided them with crucial wickets whenever he was given the ball. He finished with his career best ODI bowling figures of 5-63!
In pursuit, India initiated well with their openers as they provided a brisk start. The platform was laid for the middle-order but Kohli and Rahane didn't contribute much and that pushed the visitors on the back foot. From there on, Raina and Dhoni joined forces to keep the chase on track but then the former departed soon followed by the skipper. It seemed curtains at that moment but what we witnessed after that was nothing less than spectacular. In came Ravichandran Ashwin and out of nowhere he started to punish the Kiwi bowlers. He along with Ravindra Jadeja utilized the Batting Powerplay nicely and that kept India in hunt.
Phew! What a game of cricket we have just witnessed! It went right down to the wire with nothing much to choose between the two sides and have to say, in the end tie is a fair enough result. India are looking disappointed as they had a chance of winning it towards the end but still they will be relieved that they have not lost the series here.
Corey Anderson to Ravindra Jadeja

All set, here we go...
Corey Anderson to bowl the last over. 18 needed off it! Jadeja on strike! Can he do it for India? Slight delays in play at the moment as the Indian physio is out and is giving some treatment to Jadeja who seems to have hurt his left wrist.
