Pakistan's bowlers were simply outstanding, completely dominating the South African lineup with an all-spin attack. The star of the show was Noman Ali, who produced a fantastic performance to claim a well-deserved six-wicket haul. Supporting him brilliantly was Sajid Khan, who picked up three crucial wickets, while Salman Ali Agha chipped in with one. Remarkably, all ten South African wickets fell to the Pakistani spinners, highlighting the challenge the visitors faced on a slow turning track. Can South Africa mount a comeback? We shall find out. The start of Day 3 brought disappointment for the visitors. The overnight resistance was broken early as Senuran Muthusamy fell quickly. All eyes were then on Tony de Zorzi, who continued his effort, reaching a superb century before finally departing for a magnificent 104. His departure signaled the end of any significant fightback. The tail offered little resistance, and South Africa's innings soon wrapped up at 269, giving Pakistan a lead of 109 runs.

So, South Africa have been bowled out for 269 runs! Their innings saw a rocky start, losing Markram and Mulder cheaply. However, the grit of Rickelton and Tony de Zorzi came to the fore on a sluggish surface. De Zorzi, surviving a couple of early scares, grew into his innings, finding solid support from Rickelton, who looked impressive for his 71. The duo stitched a crucial 94-run partnership, stabilizing the innings at 174/3. Unfortunately, a mini-collapse followed with the quick departures of Stubbs, Brevis, and Varreynne, leaving the Proteas precariously placed at 200/6. Muthusamy then joined the settled de Zorzi, managing to see out the day at 216/6, with the partnership providing some late resistance.
