Chennai:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had filed a complaint against Modi and six others, accusing them of misappropriating funds to the tune of Rs.468 crore.
The complaint, filed by Secretary N Srinivasan on behalf of the BCCI accused him of receiving kickbacks while allotting media rights and free commercial rights.
But the city police say how can Modi be held guilty when BCCI has laid no guidelines on what procedures should be followed while allotting media rights and free commercial rights?
