So, that is it from this game! Mahmudullah has been given the trophy and now he along with his team celebrate the series win. All Bangladesh then in this tour, they won the Tests, the ODIs and now the T20Is too. That is it from this game and this series. However, if you haven't had enough of cricketing action, you can catch all the action from the India game which begins shortly. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Mahmudullah, The winning Captain of Bangladesh says the boys showed a lot of character and everyone contributed, Shamim played a good knock down the end and it was a combined effort in the end. States when you are chasing a big score, you need partnerships and also rotate strike well, they wanted to build partnerships and that was their plan. Adds, Sarkar scored when it was needed and he is pleased they could chase this down.
Soumya Sarkar has been given the Man of the Match for today and the Man of the Series!
Post Match Presentation - Zimbabwe Captain Sikandar Raza says they have shown improvement in every game and he felt the score was defendable on this track. States he was pretty confident about winning the game till the 15th over but the last couple of overs strayed away from the plans. Adds it is never easy to play a series without the seniors but seeing the youngsters step up was good and he hopes they can do better. Admits they need to bowl less extras and if they can do that, they can be a better side.
Earlier in the day, after electing to bat, Bangladesh scored a massive 193 thanks to a combined batting effort from their side. However, it was chased down quite easily in the end from Bangladesh who's batters to rose to the occasion.
The Zimbabwe bowling was not at its best! Far too many boundary balls and some extras too in between which just released the pressure. They did manage to take wickets here and there but could never build pressure on the visitors by bowling a few tight overs. Raza will not be pleased as he would have backed his bowlers to defend this.
What a fine, fine chase from Bangladesh! They truly deserve the series especially after chasing down such a massive total. They though did not get off to the best of starts as they lost Naim early. However, Shakib and Sarkar got things back on track before Shakib departed. Sarkar though continued and along with Mahmudullah took his side on top. Sarkar was departed after getting to his half ton, Afif also did not last for long out there. Shamim though came in and played a beauty of an innings along with Mahmudullah to take his side over the line.

Blessing Muzarabani To Mahmudullah OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! Full ball, outside off. Mahmudullah looks to slice it over third man, but gets an oustside edge and the ball goes towards the right of the keeper who dives and completes a very good low catch. So the Captain has to depart.

FOUR! In the gap again and this is probably the over which seals the deal for Bangladesh. 15 from it and just the 13 needed in 12. A short one, Hossain pulls it uppishly, he does not hit it very well but in the gap in the mid-wicket region for another boundary.

Dion Myers To Shamim Hossain
FOUR! Shamim you beaty! We say it again, what a cameo this is! What innovation. Outrageous! He plays the reverse sweep, he gets it past the short third man fielder and into the fence. Finding the gaps nicely.

FOUR! Thumped away! There is the needed boundary and this is a really good innings from Shamim so far. It is short and outside off, Hossain slaps it through covers for a boundary.

Dion Myers To Shamim Hossain
Two! Good running! This is short and wide outside off, Hossain looks to cut but this goes off the underedge on the off side for one. That was very wide, he could have left it but went for it.

Tendai Chatara To Shamim Hossain
FOUR! Put away! Really clever from Shamim! He walks across and Chatara bowls it well wide outside off, he did not look to whack it over the leg side but instead just guided it past point, third man was in the ring so another crucial boundary.
