Mahmudullah, the captain of Minister Group Dhaka, says that it was a very good and much-needed win for them. Credits the openers for the way they batted and praises Tamim for a perfect knock. Further says that Mohammad Shahzad is a guy who they rely on to get a good start and he delivered. Feels that the Afghan struggled a bit but came out with a positive frame of mind. Tells that it was a good wicket to bat on but credits both Tamim and Shahzad for the way they batted.

It was a game where nothing worked for Sylhet Sunrisers. Lendl Simmons was the lone warrior for them as he struck a century and scored 66 per cent of his team's runs. All the other batters of the Sunrisers failed to get going against some disciplined bowling from Minister Group Dhaka. Still, Sylhet Sunrisers had got quite a challenging total on the board but in the second innings, their bowlers let them down. Mohammad Mithun dropped Tamim Iqbal on zero and that proved to be very costly. All the bowlers, barring Ravi Bopara, took a beating and Minister Group Dhaka cruised to an easy win with 18 balls to spare.
Minister Group Dhaka have strolled to a thumping win! They made short work of a reasonably challenging target and handed a thrashing to Sylhet Sunrisers. Tamim Iqbal was an absolute star with the bat, stroking a swashbuckling century and he stayed till the end to hit the winning runs. Mohammad Shahzad usually plays the role of an aggressor but this evening, the Afghan dropped into the role of a supporting cast and together they raised a 173-run stand. A very important win for Minister Group Dhaka and this will help them in reviving their campaign.
