It's time for the Presentation Ceremony...
Earlier in the game, after being asked to bat first, Sri Lanka Women Under-19 came out aggressively against some wayward bowling from Malaysia. However, Malaysia Women Under-19 pulled things back with a couple of quick wickets. Dahami Sanethma and skipper Manudi Nanayakkara then steadied the ship with a crucial partnership that put the pressure back on the hosts. Dahami brought up a well-crafted half-century, anchoring the innings. Malaysia managed to pick up a few wickets towards the end, applying some brakes on the scoring to restrict Sri Lanka to a total of 162 runs.
The wickets continued to tumble at regular intervals, and the Sri Lankan bowlers maintained relentless pressure. Suabika showed some resilience but all in vain. It was only a matter of time before Sri Lanka wrapped up the game with ease, bundling out the hosts for a paltry score of 23 runs. As many as 6 players got out for ducks while none could cross 7-run mark. Chamudi Praboda and Manudi Nanayakkara were the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka Women Under-19 with 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Chasing a daunting target of 163 runs, Malaysia needed a solid start but faltered early, losing three wickets within the first two overs, leaving them in dire straits. Nur Aliya showed some resilience by holding one end for a while, but the runs were hard to come by. By the end of the Powerplay, Malaysia Women Under-19 managed to score just 9 runs, falling significantly behind the required rate.
Sri Lanka Women Under-19 crush hosts Malaysia Women Under-19 by a mammoth 139 runs, making a commanding start to their ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup campaign. Malaysia Women Under-19 are skittled out for just 23 runs which is the lowest total in the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup history. It was a dominating performance from Sri Lanka in all departments.

Rashmika Sewwandi To Nazwah OUT!
OUT! RUN OUT! All over for Malaysia! Sri Lanka record a thumping win. This is full, at the stumps, Nazwah jams it out to the right of mid-wicket. Marsya sets off for the single without even looking at her partner. Nazwah stands her ground and Marsya is at the point of no return. Chamudi Praboda moves to her right and picks it up. Lobs it towards the bowling end on the bounce. Her throw hits the stumps, and Marsya is nowhere in the frame. Malaysia have been bowled out for 23 - the lowest total in the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup history.
