That is it! South Africa are seen posing with the trophy. All smiles in their camp and they deserve all the applause they are getting from the crowd. They have been brilliant in the ODI series, except for today. Sri Lanka on the other hand, have shown great improvement as the series progressed. Now the two teams will turn their attention to the shortest format which will be played on the 14th of August at 1900 local (1330 GMT). Till then you can catch the action of the Test match going on between England and India. Goodbye.
South Africa skipper, Quinton de Kock says it is good to win the series. Admits it is not easy to come here and win. Adds further it is an important series win for them. Credits the way Sri Lanka played today. Reckons the toss did not make a lot of difference. Ends by saying Akila is a very good bowler and it is not easy facing him.
Man of the series JP Duminy says that it it a bitter-sweet felling. Adds that he is disappointed about today but on the whole is happy. Says that being 3-0 up in Sri Lanka is not easy and they will take positives from it. On retiring from Test cricket he says that it was not an easy decision but so far so good for him. He says that he has been working on his batting and is good to see rewards from it. On the team he says that the batting has been good and their mind set has been positive. Ends by saying that he is looking forward to the T20 game as he is the captain of the side.
Sri Lanka skipper, Angelo Mathews, says this is the performance they were looking for but it came a touch too late. Mentions they take a lot of positives from the game and he feels everybody chipped in today. Further adds the wicket was a bit on the slower side but once he got in, scoring became easy. Credits the way South Africa played. Ends by saying they are trying to improve and looking to get better each and every day.

Man of the Match, Akila Dananjaya, says today was his best performance and he is very happy. Adds further he wanted to be the best bowler of the series and he feels he has achieved it. Mentions he is looking forward to excel in all the formats. Ends by saying he has worked hard on his variations and they are coming out well.
That is where the procession started as Reeza bagged a first ball duck and Klaasen to walked back cheaply. Duminy and de Kock tried to steady the ship but the former fell prey to another spinner, Dhananjaya de Silva. The visitors never recovered after that as the last 5 wickets fell for less than 40 runs. De Kock, their skipper, was fighting a lone battle with a half ton but lacked support.
After posting a target which I felt was above par, courtesy four 50 plus-run stands and an outstanding 96 from Mathews, the Lankans came out all guns blazing with the ball. Lakmal started things off with an absolute beauty, getting rid of Amla for nought. Markram and de Kock did try and counter-attack but the former's woes against spin continued as he fell prey to Akila.
An excellent batting performance has been followed up with an even better show with the ball. I did mention in my first innings text that with the wicket providing assistance to the spinners, Akila will hold the key and hasn't he delivered in some style! A 6-fer, he has ran through the battling line up of South Africa and helped Sri Lanka win quite comprehensively.

Akila Dananjaya To Keshav Maharaj OUT!
OUT! In the air... taken! 6-fer for Akila. The game keeps getting better for him. These are also the best figures at Colombo for a spinner. He tosses this one up, it is the leg spinner. Maharaj dances down the track does not get to the pitch of it. Still goes ahead with the shot and all he manages to do is hit it up in the air towards mid off where Lakmal takes it.
Junior Dala is the last man in.
