What a game of cricket it was! It was nothing short of a nail-biter. The Aussies have leveled the series 1-1 and it will go down to the wire at Cape Town, where the all-important decider will be played. It takes place on 9th March, 2016 at 1800 local time, 2130 IST. Do joins us for it, folks. It surely promises to be a cracker. Until then, take care and cheers!
David Warner has been named the Man of the Match for his explosive knock off 77.
The match was all down to the last over, it could have been anyone's game. With 11 to get from last 6 balls, it was finally Faulkner and Marsh who got them over the line. The Proteas will be highly disappointed with their bowling performance today, an off day for them. They batted well and fielded best too but just could not pull it off with their bowling. They looked toothless despite picking up 5 wickets.
Entertaining stuff here at the Wanderers! After claiming 3 wickets inside the powerplay, the Proteas were all favorites to win this match. The returning Steyn and the solid Rabada put up a good show. But it was the explosive duo of David Warner and Glenn Maxwell who tried to sail the lost ship of Australian batting and got it right by staying almost till the end. Both of them went on to score their respective fifties and put up a record 161-run stand between them. It looked like they would sail away now, but the show was not over yet.
