Team Abu Dhabi will be pleased with their overall game this evening. The batting did stutter early in the evening but Liam Livingstone's scintillating knock made sure that they amassed 52 runs from the last two overs and posted a big total on the board. Dropping the Team Abu Dhabi skipper on 3 proved to be a big moment in this match and Norther Warriors will be regretting it massively. The bowling from the Men in Yellow was also mostly on the money. Marchant de Lange once again impressed in his two overs by picking 2 wickets for just 6 runs and Danny Briggs also picked a brace by conceding only 15 in his quota of two overs.
A comfortable victory in the end for Team Abu Dhabi. Their bowling started well in the first two overs of the Powerplay and didn't allow a strong start to the Warriors. Losing Moeen Ali for a golden duck was a big blow to Northern Warriors. Kennar Lewis expressed himself with his muscular strokes but his departure created massive scoreboard pressure on the other batters. Rovman Powell fought for a while but the asking rate kept on mounting and he ended up throwing away his wicket as well. Second win for Team Abu Dhabi and they have strengthened their position on top of the points table.
