Hardik Pandya grabs the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance. That's all from this contest. But don't go anywhere as the second match of the evening is just around the corner. See you there!
Mumbai will be delighted with today's win. Their bowlers set the tone nicely in the Powerplay by picking two wickets and then in spite of the big partnership, they didn't lose hope. Hardik Pandya was the most impressive bowler while others also stepped up when it mattered the most. Altogether, a good performance by the defending champions.
Chasing a target of 182, Kolkata didn't get the desired start as their new opening combination (Lynn and Gill) faltered. Robin Uthappa though showed his class today with his wonderful knock and along with Nitish Rana, he raised an 84-run stand. Kolkata were looking in a fairly good position in the chase courtesy their partnership but the wicket of Uthappa turned things around in Mumbai's favour. Nitish Rana departed soon after that, followed by the wicket of big-hitting Andre Russell. Dinesh Karthik once again tried his best to pull off a win but fell short.
Superb effort by Mumbai! With their backs to the wall, they have once again come out trumps in a key encounter. It's two in two for them and so far they have done an excellent job in keeping their campaign alive. It's their seventh win in a row over Kolkata. Talk about dominance!

Krunal Pandya To Sunil Narine OUT!
OUT! A wicket for Mumbai, the crowd is going wild! Narine with a mistimed shot has sliced his drive in the air towards extra cover. Rohit Sharma backpedals a bit and makes no mistake. The batsmen though crossed and Karthik will have strike.

DROPPED AND FOUR! What have you done, Duminy? Karthik attacks the short ball and powers it over square leg. Duminy near the fence tries to catch it but it bursts out of his hands and drops behind before crossing the fence. This could be a game-changing moment for Mumbai. 14 from the over, 23 needed off the last over which will be bowled by Krunal Pandya.
