That's all we have for you, folks! Another Test which gets done within four days. England win the series as they take a 3-1 lead. After a long series, we finally come to the last match of it. The action moves to Kennington Oval, London. That game too will begin at 1100 local (1000 GMT). Do join in for the farewell game of the tour. Even though the series is lost, Virat Kohli said they will give it their all, so you don't want to miss it. Until next time, cheers!
Man of the Match, Moeen Ali, says he's missed Test cricket and it's great to come back. Mentions that he needed a little break to rejuvenate and is happy he got that. Specifies that going back to County Cricket really helped, as when watching his national side teammates playing he felt like he wanted to make a comeback and that helped him appreciate Test cricket more. Feels like he's getting better with each passing day and just wants to continue with that. On batting at no.3, he mentions he was given a choice by his captain and he took it, also chuckles as he informs he enjoyed the 15 balls that he faced. Ends by saying that he doesn't care what position he bats in, just wants to contribute to the team and help win games.
England captain, Joe Root, says that Sam Curran has been superb throughout the series, so is excited for him and the team. States that the pressure is welcome and that his team knows how to handle it, so is proud of the boys. Informs that hitting the deck hard and just applying the pressure was the key, as that one ball can change the game completely. Adds that they would like to carry the intensity from this game forward. On Moeen Ali, he happily says that the experience from different places helps the players and this is the best he's seen Ali bowl in an England shirt. Is pleased that no matter how much the team order is shuffled, everyone is contributing and doing their part.
India captain, Virat Kohli, says England did really well to set the target they did. Applauds them for using the spinning conditions on offer to the fullest. Reckons his side didn't make too many mistakes, but the English team was relentless and deserves the credit for the win. Mentions that he never thought if the partnership between him and Rahane was broken it would be a problem, but no partnerships before and after that is a problem. Once again states that England put the pressure when the partnership was broken and took the game from there. Feels ifs and buts don't mean anything, plenty of situations could have been different so no point criticizing them. Adds they just have to take the positives and do the best in the next game. Further adds it's handy to have a few attacking players lower down the order when the bowlers are a bit tired, both sides have them but England's did better. Credits Sam Curran for the fantastic series he's having. Emphasizes that he and his team will not throw the towel in in the last game and give it their all.
Sam Curran and Ben Stokes are caught for a chat. Curran says that he is happy to contribute with the win. On his batting he says that he was trying to play his natural game like he does for Surrey. Ends saying that he was just enjoying the occasion. Ben Stokes gives credit to all the players. Mentions that the third innings was special. Continues saying that he put all the demons off his mind and looked to spend time in the middle.
This contest will have plenty of talking points, but one more than any other would stand out. Should India have gone with two spinners as well given the nature of the pitch? And also, Ashwin's underwhelming performance seriously dented their chances as he fully couldn't exploit the conditions like Moeen Ali. A deserving win for Joe Root's England, they've nicked the vital moments and stood up when it mattered.
Come the third innings, England faltered at the top yet again, but Buttler, Stokes and the young boy Curran once again played their role to perfection and posted a massive target on the board for India. It was never going to be easy with the wicket turning so much, but despite losing their top order early, the tourists were actually on top till Kohli and Rahane were at the crease. Though, the moment their century stand was broken, the writing was more or less on the wall. Ali decimated the remaining Indian batters, finishing with 9 wickets in total in this match.
England were on the back foot with the top and middle order once again rolled over rather early. But vital contributions from Ali and Curran took England to a respectable total. Then when India came out to bat, all more or less failed, and had it not been for Pujara's classy ton, the match would have been over much earlier. He kept his side alive and competing in the Test.
So the final nail in the coffin has been hammered and the hosts take the series, leading 3-1 now. This entire Test match has been terrific all around, with the players' skill with both bat and ball being tested. Although, the difference-maker, it could be argued, was the contribution from the lower middle order of both teams. You could say England's contributed more, in particular, Sam Curran's role, which changed the game.

Sam Curran To Ravichandran Ashwin OUT!
OUT! That's it. The inevitable has happened as Sam Curran, fittingly, plucks the final wicket. He comes running in from around the wicket and fires in a fuller length delivery on middle and leg, Ashwin moves across to flick it away but is caught low on the pads. A big appeal goes up and after a little nod from the umpire, so does the finger. The English team celebrates, smiles and handshakes all around. ENGLAND WIN BY 60 RUNS!

Dropped! But a good try from Anderson. Length ball wide outside off, Ashwin looks to loft it over point. Anderson there leaps, sticks his left hand out but can't keep a hold of it. Tough chance.
