Wanindu Hasaranga, the victorious skipper says that they have won four games and the boys did their job really well. Credits Chamindu and says that he did really well and they have a good bench which allows them to change the team when they need to do so.
Dasun Shanaka, the skipper of Dambulla Aura says that nothing has been going their way either with the bat or ball. The bowlers are struggling to stick to their plans while the batters have not been able to build solid stands in the middle. Hopefully, they can turn it around in the next fixture.
Kamindu Mendis is the Player of the Match and he says that Pathum Nissanka and Andre Fletcher did their job up the order and he just wanted to come in to build a partnership. Claims that they had targeted reaching about 170-175 and they got to a good total which they could defend in the field.

Carlos Brathwaite, is in for a quick chat. He says that the batters are giving him wickets and he is grateful for it.  Mentions that sometimes you bowl good balls and get hit and sometimes not so good deliveries to claim wickets. When asked about Andre Fletcher he says that he is not sure if he hurt his back while celebrating but he hopes that they can patch him and get him ready for the next game. Admits that it is always difficult when they lose a game but to snap back and get a win was fantastic.
Earlier in the innings, after opting to bat first. The Kandy Falcons batters certainly backed their skipper's decision and posted 193 runs, which was well above par. It was Kamindu Mendis who led the innings with his half-century. Andre Fletcher and Ashen Bandara also played a helping hand with their respective knocks in 40s. Dambulla Aura hardly got the batters under pressure. They were chasing the game from ball 1 it seems.
Kandy Falcons bowlers were on fire with the ball in hand. Carlos Brathwaite did not let the batters breathe whenever he had the new ball in hand. He tore apart the Dambulla Aura top-order in a jiffy. He was well supported by Chamika Karunaratne who drew first blood. He soon got rid of both the openers within a blink of an eye. Carlos Brathwaite capitalized on the pressure and picked up three wickets in quick succession to put his side on the driving seat. Later, they kept picking up wickets at regular intervals and bowled the opposition out for just 116 runs.
Dambulla Aura were off to a decent start with Shevon Daniel and Lasith Croospulle finding some boundaries in the first two overs. Although, it went downhill since then as Carlos Brathwaite caused havoc with the new ball and Dambulla Aura found themselves staring down the barrel, as they went on to lose 5 wickets inside the Powerplay. Chathuranga de Silva racked up 25 runs, the highest of their innings and Noor Ahmad also was very impressive with his brisk knock right at the very end.
Kandy Falcons get back to winning ways in a thrilling manner. They record a massive victory of 77 runs against Dambulla Aura, who have lost four on the trot now. Not the record anyone would like to hold.
