Shakib Al Hasan will not be a happy man. They could have done much better with the bat. Mahmudullah, Karim Janat did give a good end but a score less than 160 was always tricky. With the ball, Fortune Barishal didn't have a sniff as it was chased without much trouble.
We felt Fortune Barishal were 15-20 runs short and it turned out to be true as Dhaka Dominators chased down comfortably. The good thing was Dhaka Dominators showed intent right from the start as the openers put on a really good foundation. Mohammad Mithun was the hero as he scored a fifty. A couple of wickets felt in the later phase but Dhaka Dominators had the game in control till then. The bowlers though did well to keep a side like Barishal to such a par score on such a good wicket. All of their bowlers took a wicket at least.
A massive two points for Dhaka Dominators. They are not giving up yet as this win will help them a lot on the table. A late turnaround is needed by them. This though is a big win against the mighty Fortune Barishal.
