So that is it from this game! Bangladesh continue their dominance at home. Zimbabwe on the other hand, are not yet out of the tri-series as they still have an outside chance. They will hope that Sri Lanka lose to Bangladesh by a big margin which though, is quite possible if the previous outing between the two Asian sides is anything to go by. Who will join Bangladesh in the final? We will find out when Bangladesh lock horns with Sri Lanka on the 25th of January in Mirpur at 1200 local (0600 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye.
Man of the Match, Tamim Iqbal, says it wasn't easy to bat on such a wicket. Further adds the ball was moving around. Opines patience is the key on such tracks as you get opportunity to put away the bad balls. Feels around 240 would have been par but rues to throw his wicket away at the wrong time. Mentions rotating the strike was crucial and he did that well with Shakib. Calls it a proud moment for breaking Jayasuriya's record of scoring the most no. of runs at a single venue.
Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza also starts by pointing out on the pitch. Reckons it played a lot different than they thought. Felt they were on course to score around 280-300 but the wicket got tougher as the game progressed. Credits the effort by his no. 9 and 10 with the bat. Ends by saying it has been a good show until now and wants to continue in same manner.
Zimbabwe skipper, Graeme Cremer, starts by saying all the wickets looked similar but played differently. Mentions the toss was not crucial as they didn't know how the wicket would play. He feels they were good with the ball but threw it away with the bat. Opines they gave Bangladesh a few soft wickets and need to show more resistance with the bat. States they have enjoyed playing the tri-series and it was a good learning curve for the youngsters in their side. Hopes to still make it through to the finals.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh looked set to get a big total when Tamim and Shakib were going great guns. But a brilliant spell by Cremer who bagged a four-fer, helped his side pull things back in between. However, 46 runs from the last two wickets saw the Bangladeshi side set a total which in the end proved too much for the visitors. Stay tuned for the presentation.
All the bowlers shared the spoils. It was Mortaza and Shakib at the start as they ran through the top order. With the former bagging two and latter taking three. Mustafizur Rahman, with his cutters outfoxed the lower order and ended with figures of 6.3-3-16-2. He gave away first run off his bowling on the 23rd ball he bowled, tells you the story how difficult the life he made for the African side.
Chasing 217 was never going to be easy and once Zimbabwe lost four wickets in the Powerplay it was always going to be an uphill task. Raza, who has been their best player in this series once again was the only player who showed resistance to battle it out there. Moor and Cremer did provide support but the Bangladeshi bowling was too hot to handle.
Mushfiqur Rahim is very pleased with the win. He says the wicket was tricky. Credits the lower order for its contribution with the bat. Further adds he felt 250-plus would have been very good on this track. Appreciates the Zimbabwean bowlers for their spell. Opines they needed to get their eye in with the bat and cash on later but could not do so. States they have a good bowling attack and they had the belief that they could defend this. He finishes by saying they want to play good brand of cricket and carry on with the momentum.
Another comprehensive victory for Bangladesh. They have once again blown the visitors away. They have now won three out of three and are once again showing the world that they are a force to be reckoned with at home. Meanwhile, we have Mushfiqur Rahim for an interview.

Mustafizur Rahman To Kyle Jarvis OUT!
OUT! That's it! Mustafizur has the last laugh! He bowls it fuller on off, Jarvis tries to play the same shot which fetched him a boundary on the previous ball. This time he does not time it well though and it goes straight to mid off where Mahmudullah takes it easily. BANGLADESH WIN BY 91 RUNS!

Shakib Al Hasan To Tendai Chatara OUT!
OUT! In the air... and a good catch by Sabbir! Third one for Shakib, he first did it with the bat and now is doing it with the ball. He tosses this one up, Chatara who has only looked to attack, comes down the track and goes big. He gets the elevation but not the distance. It goes towards wide long on, Sabbir from long on runs to his right and takes it easily. Bangladesh are now just one wicket away from making it three out of three wins.

Mustafizur Rahman To Tendai Chatara
Has it carried? Not sure? Mustafizur changes the angle and comes over the wicket. He makes good use of it and slants it across the batsman. Chatara first thinks of playing at it but then tries to pull his bat out of the way. He is late in doing so and the ball takes the outside edge and it seems like it falls just short of Mushfiqur. Replays later on show it was just short of the diving keeper.

FOUR! Not convincing but Chatara will take it! Shakib tosses it up on middle, Tendai tries to go big but it goes off the inner half, over the mid-wicket fielder for a boundary. There was a fielder giving it a chase from long on, he also puts in a dive but all in vain.
