Manudi Nanayakkara, the skipper of Sri Lanka Women Under-19, says that she is happy with the performance and she is happy to lead the team. Adds that the bowling was perfect and they can improve as well. Ends by saying that they did well and it was a good experience.

Sri Lanka's bowlers were the architects of their victory, with Chamudi Praboda delivering a standout performance. Praboda, Pramudi Methsara and Aseni Thalagune each claimed 2 wickets, stifling the Australian batting lineup and restricting their scoring opportunities. Caoimhe Bray was the lone bright spot for Australia, top-scoring with 27 runs off 32 balls, while Lucy Hamilton and Ines McKeon chipped in with 10 runs each. the rest of their batters failed ultimately falling short by 12 runs.
