Victorious Pakistan captain, SHAHID AFRIDI thinks that in this format they can't sit relaxed in the dressing room. Adds that he told his boys to go out and play normal cricket but advised not to lose wickets. Further says that taking wickets initially he thought they would get UAE bowled out under 100 but the opposition played really well. However, it was good practice for them and a game like this before the India match would have been helpful. Ends by saying that that still have two more fixtures to go and hopes they will do well.

SHOAIB MALIK (Man of the Match) says that it was tough and that first 6 overs are always crucial. Thinks that surviving first 6 overs was important and that's what he and Akmal did. Adds that Pakistan bowled really well initially but then later on they were all over the place. Ends by saying that they will look to cut down the mistakes from here on.

UAE started off really well. They kept the Pakistani batsmen on their toes. They did not allow them to play big shots in the Powerplay. Mohammad Naveed their star bowler went wicket-less. Amjad Javed got three wickets and was unplayable at the start of the innings. Mohammad Shahazad was the most economical bowler. Things went out of hand after the 14th over when Umar and Shoaib went berserk. It would be disheartening for them as they couldn't restrict Pakistan since in their previous two matches they did it effectively.

Shoaib started really slow but later picked up. Umar took the risks and was playing the big hits. They took some serious lessons from their first match and ensured they don't lose their wickets cheaply. It was post 14th over they went for huge hits and nobody was spared from their wrath.

An amazing victory for Pakistan! They are back in the tournament after a shaky start. They got off to an abysmal start as they lost 3 quick wickets. But Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal came into the middle at a time when things were really bleak and played fantastic knocks. They stitched up an unbeaten 114-run partnership between them and saw their team to the finish line with 8 balls to spare.
