Nasir Hossain, the captain of Dhaka Dominators says that he is very disappointed with the effort. Adds that he hoped the top order could have done well. Says that the partnership with Mithun was good for them. Lauds the bowling effort and says it was well upfront but the partnership between Iftikhar and Mahmudullah took the game away from them. Ends by saying that they will go back to Dhaka and try to put up some good performances for the crowd.

Earlier in the innings, Fortune Barishal were under immense pressure as they lost three wickets inside the Powerplay. Mehidy Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan got off to starts but could not make the most of it. Later, Iftikhar Ahmed scored another half-century in this competition, while Mahmudullah supported him really well to get over the 170-run mark. Eventually, Dhaka Dominators could not turn up the heat with the bat in hand as much as they would've wanted.
An incredible bowling performance by Fortune Barishal. Their spinners were taken to the cleaners early on but they did really well to pull things back in their favour. Only three bowlers came into the wicket's column with a wicket each. Hands down it is their death bowling that has got them over the line here. Credit to Kamrul Islam and Mohammad Wasim for their scintillating bowling effot with an old ball. Karim Janat also did really well in the middle overs to squeeze the run flow.
Dhaka Dominators were off to a flier thanks to their opening stand between Usman Ghani and Soumya Sarkar. They got their side to an ideal start but they both were sent back to the dugout in a jiffy. Mohammad Imran Randhawa also followed suit. Nasir Hossain and Mohammad Mithun stitched a gritty stand and kept their side in the chase. Although, both the batters took some time to find their feet and in the end, left a little too much to chase down in the death overs.
Dhaka Dominators failed to hit the knockout punch here! Nasir Hossain gets his half-century but is unable to get his side over the line here. He will be extremely gutted about it. Fortune Barishal though continue on their merry way and record their fifth win on the trot.
