About Scottish Event Campus (SEC)
The Scottish Event Campus (SEC), positioned along the scenic north bank of the River Clyde, can be labelled as the epicentre of the 2026 Games. Functioning as a massive multi-sport cluster, the campus utilises three distinct architectural zones to accommodate six sports. The stunning, spherical OVO Hydro will host the entire netball tournament alongside the opening ceremony. Meanwhile, the distinctively curved SEC Armadillo will stage weightlifting and para-powerlifting events.
Finally, the expansive SEC Centre exhibition halls will be transformed into specialized arenas for boxing, judo, basketball, and bowls. By hosting a total of 47 medal events under one interconnected campus footprint, the SEC offers a festival atmosphere, allowing spectators to seamlessly transition between world-class bouts, matches, and court action all in a single day.
